Not sure if anyone remembers me, but being in HnE during the PoP expansion and after that was one of the most exciting and amazing times I ever had in EQ.
Ainian leading the raids in PoTime and whooping Quarm for the 1st time was pure fun!

Wow, I didn't know if this board would still be around. I was feeling nostalgic and figured I would drop in. I had a blast when I was in H&E ! Ainian
and I might not have always seen eye to eye, but I would have followed him in battle anyplace, anytime. He was truly brilliant in leading and getting people to
play their best . * waves * Ainian ! I would also like to shout out to the awesome necros. MELAH!!!! Tapo... Vtyn. I have never had so much fun playing online
as I did with these guys and that guild as a whole. ZLANDICAR!!, heh, I had to type that as it reminds me of my old TWC days. I hope everyone is doing great,
just stopped in to say HI!

Man seeing Vuj and Tapo reminds me of the Necromancer team hahaha. That was some fun times. Remember when Vuj ran around naked in that one place making huge trains? That place we charmed the mobs to fight the boss with. Haha Tapo I think it was INNO! I remember us always cracking jokes on raids or messing with the peeps who take things more serious than us. Inno looked like a rockstar dancing around with his cape whenever we fought him. Was years ago. I quit during that expansion after Planes of Powers. When did you guys all call it quits? |

Yeah it was INNO Mel. I wasn't too far behind you. I left right before we killed Vish during Dragons of Norrath. Once Morty left I got tired of only
logging in for raids and going down memory lane in all the old zones that were once chock full of people. I was offered 1,400 for Tapo and that was it for me.
I just started WoW less than 2 months ago, hit 60 with myself and my daughter last night but it just doesn't feel the same as it did back then in Eq. I
really miss those days. Where is Lord Barth !?! Num? Dogo? and Hey Aeolyn, I never thought I'd see that name again.

Some of us on Alliance on Ysera still, Num is the quit atm but may be back for the next expansion. Myself, Dazrai, Morty, Burkin, Rendak, Elfmon, Zaphodius,
Yurian, Kaerel, Fammaden, Laeriel, Ryoz and others were playing on and off over the last year or so. I've been quit for about 4 months myself so I'm
not sure who is still playing right now, who is quit for good, and who is coming back when next expansion hits. I'm going to check out wotlk when it hits.

Necro team.. more like a gang. I'll always remember the Paffa runs. And being able to clear that entire zone with 2 necros in less than 20 minutes, while
tip-toeing around Carprin to get into the back undead area. I played some WoW during the first year of TBC--warlock and rogue collecting dust atm--fun but
not the same kind of fun as EQ, and definitely not as enduring.
Num, Mel, Vuj, Tapo: You guys were and always will be the best in my mind. I miss you guys every time I get invited to some shitty group. Ainian, I often regret that we didn't end as friends. I'm sorry for that. One day I would like to shake your hand and buy you a beer. Everyone else-- I miss you too, dammit. There will never be another guild like HnE, the games nowadays are just not punishing enough. Vtyn |

Numnayan, Melahmit, Vtyn, Vujokovich - all some sick ass necros. I was part of the fan club, i had the membership card to prove.
What about Sammah the rogue? Or Demad the ... pimp? Think about it this way. Sure it was a lot of fun sitting in front of your keyboards for hours on end, but you could've made a ton of money or spent time with your loved ones. I'm glad that WoW sucks because if another game as awesome for its time as EQ was comes out = my life is fucked.

be honest, in all of my ten years of online gaming I have not run into such a rat's nest of patronizing attitude. I'm glad that when I played EQ for a
few months this year that I only saw the tag once or twice. Enjoy your fond, snobbish memories you bunch of computer game snobs.

HnE was the best guild to be in ever. I bet you guys had fun at the top but im sure theres no way there couldve been more memories than being there when we were building up to what we became. Wish i couldve been there when we were on top, but i loved being there along the way. Still remember when pretty much anyone in the guild who could wear it was wearing that damn treebark bp from kunark unless they were the recent crossovers from TWC. Ghar training Sontalak on OoP of course. Ghar being real friendly with that chick from OoP at a convention, and in all her pics at the convention with him she had nothing but alot of gums and a little bit of teeth. When our rival guild at the time had no desire to try to breach NToV, so we took a chance at the named wyvern and one shot it. Having so much fucking trouble with Aayonar(sp) and finally getting it down. Hoping that Samurais or the other asian guilds would not take shit while sleeping. Hoping that Ainians disconnection didnt mean another damn wallaby got caught in the power lines. Im sure theres alot i cant remember right now, but going from venril sathir and up to the last boss of NToV was a wild, fun ride for me. Instanced zones really puts a hamper on the social aspect of the recent games. |
