Mcbag,
Honestly I wanted to see pics of everyone's car choice. I say choice because despite economic situation you have choices. My car is not my "penis", again your boiling life down to sex organs, why is that? Says a lot about you actually but you are not paying me so why should I help you with some advice on how to fix these issues you seem to have? As for comparing my car say to Castalot's? If that is what you are doing. The mustang weighs about 700 pounds less, has about 100 less horse power (mine is modded and has an estimated 340hp at the flywheel and 309 to the rear wheels dynoed). My best 0-60 is 4.8 seconds on a profesional track. My car was about 10k-15k less then his. I could have afforded a Corvettee and I wanted the Dodge Challenger but it was not offered at the time I bought the Mustang. I decided to save the money, not buy the Vette, and get the Mustang GT. Oh and I paid cash, I typically save up and pay for a car outright. Go back to thinking about how big or small people's sex organs are and how you will sell yourself for yoru next kick, meal, or night out. Male, Female, Shemale, whatever you are in real life I am right about you. You are, what is commonly refered to as, "White Trash". I suppose I could make anew account and play the same game.. I won't though.. I'm tired and its really no fun. |

I didnt compare your car to any other.
I stated that wimpy guys like you buy what they think is a hot car to cover the fact they lack a penis. |

I have a penis and I have what I think is an afffordable "hot" car.
You might be confused with the fact that really old dudes tend to buy a porsche or some other waste of money forign car when they start feeling old and washed up. While I am solidly middle aged I have been buying and driving mustangs for over 15 years, the excuse that its compensation for somehting really is unfounded. I like Amercian Muscle cars and even when I could have had a BMW for example I bought the Mustang. |

When you have a penis as big as mine you need a car like this so people wont have to speculate anymore!!
All kidding aside me and my wife have built several street rods and just got sick of modding .We both wanted something with all the bells and whistles right off the showroom floor. We are active in the LX car club scene and attend car shows once or twice a week during the summer. If your in the Lewisville, Tx area i will be showing my car at the vista ridge mall on Saturday evening in the muscle car class. http://www.dfwlx.com/artwork/carshow.jpg This weekend we did the laps for charity event at Texas motor Speedway http://texas.speedwaychar...ents/laps_for_charity_i/ . The car only has 325 miles on it so far .So i haven't done any quarter mile runs yet till we break it in. But i did get it up to 120 into the corners for 3 laps and i hardly had my foot on the throttle.

It's a 66. I've had 3 1966 coupes in the past 17 years (Ugh, showing my age) and I regret getting rid of each one. I'm hoping to buy another next
year when the 4Runner is paid off, if can get my husband to agree to it. He has absolutely NO (and I mean ZERO) interest in classic muscle cars. It makes me
sad inside.

1966 stang was one of my first cars. I was born in 1966 so i thought i would be cool to have one. The rusted bucket of bolts was nothing but a hole to throw my
money in and i gave it to my cousin who later wrapped it around a guard rail. He survived but i have had shitty luck with Fords ever since , they either are
getting me tickets or breaking on me....

My dad was a Mopar man and was a mechanic... restoring cars in my teens was always a fun weekend project of ours. Our first two projects after I started
driving was a 1960 VW Karman Ghia, and my 1966 Mustang. Good times.
I have a love for both Mopar and Ford, but my passion is the 66 Pony. Light leads to hatred, dark to delight. The best of all things are done in the night!

I drive a Tacoma 2001, silver. It's 2009 now, almost had it for 8 years, guess how many times I've had to take it in for maintenance?
. . . . . . Zero. I dunno about Ford that much, but speaking for Chevy and GM I can say that they try to pack in too much power into their cars most of the time, and of course they use parts made by the smallest bidder, which in turn break down within a year or so. People that stand behind "American made" cars usually end up losing money with all the repair costs after warranty is up. Eye candy, castalot's car = pwn Japanese or German is the way to go if you want reliability though. If you got the $$ I'd advise a Lexus or Infinity G or M series. I'd say mercedes or bmw but everyone has one in the area where I live, its getting annoying. |
