Since it's not as cold yet, there is more crude oil for gasoline which means there's more supply. Along with the extra petrol thats on the market right now hopefully gas where I am will be under $2 in the next week or two. At the moment that same gas station I took a picture of is at $2.07. 81 cents a litre here today,down from a peak of 1.47 per litre.
with 80% exchange rate... .81x 3.78L (US gallon)= 3.06 Canadian. @ 83% exchange rate = roughly 2.50 USD a gallon. When it was 1.47 per litre, we were on par with the USD, so it was about 5.60 a gallon. Americans whine too much about gas prices. |

They whine about America because we buy our oil from them and yet gas is always cheaper.
