Does anyone think it would be worth it to start playing again? I've not played since June 2008 - what have I missed in the game? My cleric was spottily flagged and decently geared at that point, but how much would it take to get back up to speed? Are there any raiding guilds left on Saryrn? I'm just all hmmmmm ... do I wanna?

Who's got a clue to give away?

Hello all, lately I've had the bug to try out EQ again as the current gaming content can never hold my attention for very long. I quit around the end of 2005 I believe...shortly after WoW came out. Played that for awhile but content got boring and Blizzard is continuing to make the content even easier. I was wondering how EQ is after all these years and if anyone that I know or knows me is still around. I was a 65 shaman in Prime last time I played seriously.

How are things in eq. How about grouping? Pick up groups? Good challenging situations (I always liked playing on edge, not some mamby-pamby exp optimizing group....) I immagine raiding and soloing are fine, my real concern is grouping... do people make pick up groups or is muliti boxing the norm? will I spend ages and...

Free BiC faction food

For those crazy enough to work on BiC, i got a bunch of food left over that you give to the Yunja in Riwwi to raise faction with the Yunja Resistance. Its a pain in the butt and takes forever to make the food and i dont want it to go to waste. So if you want it than let me know by June 12th ingame, you can leave an ingame e-mail if you like and i can get back to you.

I want to get the LINKS page updated, but have NO CLUE what guilds are still active. Some may still be active but have changed their site, etc. Could someone skim over the links post and reply there with what they know. Doesn't have to be detailed... just if the guild is dead, post it. If you happen to know an updated link, post it if you don't mind. If you know there is a new link but don't know what it is, tell me and I'll search for it.

Just throwing it out there for people who would like to start on a fresh server. They are wiping the VZ/TZ emulated server on Sunday due to item duping in the past. Every character and item is being erased and they are implementing a system to prevent it from ever happening again. This is a PVP server and it's pretty ruthless. It's not for everyone but it is starting fresh and I know a lot of people would be interested in that.

All my mods/admins appear to be MIA, with the most recent appearance of any being in November. I've removed rights from all existing mods/admins with the exception of myself, and Timmeh (hoping he pops back up).

So... since I don't play any longer, I'd like to get someone in here who does. I need someone who can take over the Guild Progression thread and clean it up as well as doing all the other "nothings".

Level 80 tank needs help completing quests. Sublime I need mobs in Fort Mech and Steam Factory. Elegant I need mobs in Dire and Icefalls.

Looks like things are still pretty busy in the tavern. Hope they are still rocking in game on Saryrn as I'm biting the bullet and returning to EQ. After just over one year of playing Vanguard and a few short weeks of trying out Warhammer, I've realized that the best fun I ever had (well, in an MMO! *cough*) has been battling nasties in the wonderful addiction called Everquest.

Hoping to run into a lot of the old buds and happy to take any pointers as to how to jump back...
